WSSS

During the 1920s and into 1930s, it was common for colleges and trade schools to operate their own radio stations. WSSS, operated by the Wilson School of Secretarial Skills, was one of many nondescript such stations. A low powered station, it wasn't heard or reported much. But, the few QSLs from the station have one unique thing in common. Station (and trade school) owner Alison Wilson wrote out all the verification letters in shorthand. We don't know if she required that reception reports be submitted in shorthand!
