In August of 1987 I moved to Athens, Ohio to start grad school at Ohio University (not to be confused with Ohio State University). For BLANDX, this was a very wise move as I learned how to use a computer. Most of this issue was produced using PC-Write on IBM-PCs in the library computer lab at OU. I had some kind of dot-matrix graphics program that did the headings.
This edition had two long articles that each deserve BLANDX Classic status. Neil Wolfish gets the credit for the Radio Moscow transmitter sites article in Shortwave Center, while John Demmitt wrote the Warden Slate article.
