Like the 1990 edition, this one was put together using the Pagemaker desktop publishing software at the faculty computer resource center at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. The makeover in the Journal of NASWA image became even more complete with a real boring cover, just like the real thing. (The BLANDX parody is said to be one factor in the decision by NASWA to drop the boring cover.)
The article on scan conversion for the R-390A receiver (see Technical Stuff) is one of those all-time BLANDX classics.
